Types of sea salt and other salts

Sea salt, Himalayan pink salt, Fleur de Sel, rock salt, does not matter as long as it is unrefined. That means the salt is harvested, ground, and packaged. Salt is essential to the human body in order for the brain to send vital electrical signals throughout the body.

Refined salt can come from the same sources as unrefined salt, but nearly all the trace minerals are removed as “impurities” during the refinement process and sold to other industries, and then extra “stuff” is sometimes added in the final salt.

So make sure you use only high quality and unrefined salt for your cooking.
